The main character Christopher suffers from fairly intense autism and unlike your typical detective story this makes this book more memorable and more of a classic original read. However, although this book was recommended to me and has won so many prizes etc etc. I thought in general the book was not for me, I don't really enjoy thrillers anyways but this book was wrote as if it was by someone with autism and I just didn't enjoy the story in general because of this factor and because it's not really my type of read.**-2 Star Rating.
