Weisberger's previous novel I read "The Devil Wears Prada" I did not enjoy and found her style of writing to be quite unrealistic of a women's perspective and what a women would want to read. However, in this book it is very much so in the style of Sex and The City and is set in New York so that was Point number 1 for selling this novel to me. Number 2 was the creative storyline of 3 women all in New York, bestfriends who all make a pact that they change a feauture of there lifes. There is no big shockers and I feel that Weisberger's style of writing is still subtle and she doesn't really create a big tension in the novel but creates a lot for women to discuss and share opinions on. The fact that there are talks of this book becoming a movie just like A Devil Wears Prada has excited me as even whilst i was reading this novel I could imagine it being a film just like Sex and The City.****-4 Star Rating
